At Avondale Dealerships, we believe in investing in the next generation through meaningful community partnerships. That’s why we’re proud to partner with United to Learn to bring an Automotive & STEM Learning Zone to William M. Anderson Elementary School in South Dallas.
Located inside the school’s library, this permanent space is designed to spark curiosity through hands-on learning. Students will be introduced to STEM concepts while exploring real-world applications and potential career pathways in the automotive industry and beyond. As part of this initiative, Avondale is contributing resources to help create the official “Avondale Automotive Zone,” a key component of the larger STEM space. This area will give students the opportunity to engage in fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage problem-solving and creativity.
Our involvement goes beyond funding. During Community Campus Day, Avondale employees helped lead the first phase of the project by volunteering their time to prepare the space. From organizing materials to getting the room ready for installation, it was a meaningful opportunity to support the school and invest in its students. While the project is still underway, we’ve already heard encouraging feedback from school staff about the impact this Learning Zone will have. By introducing hands-on learning and career exploration at an early age, this space has the potential to inspire students and expand what they see as possible.
We’re grateful to work alongside United to Learn and William M. Anderson Elementary to bring this vision to life and create opportunities that foster curiosity, creativity, and learning for years to come.
