Kenneth L. Schnitzer, Chairman
In 1987, Ken purchased a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Dallas at the corner of Oak Lawn and Avondale (thus our name). Widely recognized as an innovator who changed the auto industry landscape, he's bringing his national reputation for excellence to the stewardship of the Avondale Group.
He's served twice as the chairman of the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Board and is a past member of the Lexus Dealer Council and the Porsche Board of Regents. He's also a past board member of the AT&T Performing Arts Center and past board chair of The Episcopal School of Dallas.
Ken is a current member of World Presidents Organization, Texas Quality Consortium and Baylor Healthcare System Foundation. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Virginia.
Neil C. Grossman, Chief Executive Officer
Neil's career spans more than 35 years in the automotive industry, starting from the ground up as a porter with Henry Butts Oldsmobile before moving to Sales Consultant for Van Winkle Pontiac in Dallas, where he met Ken Schnitzer and served in roles of increasing responsibility, including New Car Sales Manager, General Manager and Avondale President.
Today, he's integral to the operations of the Avondale Group.
Neil's background includes numerous management training programs, including Disney Institute's Leadership Excellence and Quality Service; Jeff Sacks and Associates' General Manager's Bootcamp; Diversity in the Workplace and Facilitation Skills, and the National Automobile Dealers Association's (NADA) Business and Financial Training (among many other elite programs).
He's also a member of both the NADA and the Texas Automobile Dealers Association.
Hesham Elgaghil, President
With 20 years of automotive industry experience, Hesham brings proven executive management skills and a successful track record of leading change and driving revenue growth.
He began his career at Avondale in 1999 as Pre-Owned Sales Consultant and quickly moved into management, displaying a gift for growing individuals as well as teams.
He's created innovations that use collaborative technologies to transform the sales process such as "One-Touch," which empowers sales people to guide clients through the entire purchase experience from start to finish, without hand-offs to other managers.
He also created Texas' first luxury vehicle subscription program, using an intuitive, app-based service that lets clients swap between various automotive brands for a convenient monthly fee (that also includes all maintenance services).
