February 20, 2025 — Avondale was proud to host the Women Behind the Wheel Tech Session, a Porsche PLACE event at Porsche Grapevine. The event welcomed Maverick Region’s Women Behind the Wheel, a group of female Porsche owners and enthusiasts within the Porsche Club of America. This dynamic community fosters learning, camaraderie, and mentorship among women in the automotive space through hands-on experiences.
This service-focused event was designed to educate drivers, including first-time Porsche owners, on basic vehicle operations and maintenance at the Porsche Grapevine Service Center.
Session stations included Tire & Maintenance, Infotainment & Custom Settings, Specialty Maintenance, and Classic Car Education. Guests received gifts including a Porsche Grapevine pashmina scarf and a Porsche vehicle air freshener. Guests enjoyed an elegant grazing station, featuring savory and sweet selections, along with spirited sips throughout the evening. At the end of the night, a lucky raffle winner took home a specially curated package featuring items from the Porsche boutique.
