The next trim up, the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 allows for a 4.0-liter 6-cylinder that manages 394 horsepower and 309 pound-feet of torque. The Boxster 25 Years version doesn't make any performance changes. You'll have to move to the 718 Boxster Spyder for additional power in the form of a flat-6 engine that makes 414 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. The 718 Boxster Spyder also gets an adjustable sport suspension and high performance summer tires.

Technology

Most of the trim levels of the 718 Boxster come with the same set of tech features. The standard set of tech features includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker audio system, and Bluetooth connectivity. Additional tech can be had in the form of upgraded audio systems. The Bose audio system is an optional upgrade along with an even higher quality Burmester audio system.
